We offer a holistic approach that is 100% natural. What is unique about our program is we treat both the sarcoid and the Bovine Papillomavirus the underlying cause of sarcoids. This is a critical point as most "traditional therapies" like surgery, freezing or Cisplatin (Chemotherapy drug) only treat the sarcoid and not the virus. They all have high reoccurrence rates.
Another important point is we do not use Bloodroot products (Xxterra, Indian Mud, Black Salve) as part of our program. Bloodroot literally burns the sarcoid off which is extremely painful to your horse. The sad part is it does nothing to clear the virus so you have a 65%-70% chance the sarcoid will reoccur. Our products will not burn or cause your horse any discomfort. It is the recommended treatment for sarcoids located in sensitive areas like face, eyes, and genitals.
Our program uses a topical salve, immune supplement, and topical wash. The sarcoid location will dictate which topical salve we recommend.
TREATMENT PLAN
(Daily)
1. Clean the sarcoid daily before applying the SC Formula using Sarcoid Wash. Please remember to dilute the concentrate – pour half the concentrate in a new 16 oz spray bottle. Add 8 0z of water.
2. Apply the salve to the sarcoid daily. Start with a pea-sized portion and add more as needed. You just need a thin coating of salve the covers the sarcoid. You will apply the salve daily for 3-4 weeks. Based on how the sarcoid reacts you can reduce to every other day when the sarcoid gets soft and spongy. If you see additional growth or no response go back to applying daily.
3. Immune Builder - The dosage will be 1/8 to 1/4 teaspoon for two weeks and then cut back to every third day. If you see growth in the sarcoid go back to daily until the growth stops.
